Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026. Karaoke Queue! is made by Deus Core. Back to Karaoke Queue!
The short version
- No accounts, no ads, no tracking or advertising cookies, and we don't sell your information.
- Your .mp4 song files never leave your computer. They are never uploaded to us.
- Party info (names, song list) is deleted automatically when the party ends.
- To deal with copyright complaints and misuse, we keep a record of which internet connection added which song (video link or song file name), for 30 days.
What we keep during a party
To run a party, our server keeps:
- the party code and settings (like the color scheme);
- the names guests and hosts type in (a nickname is fine);
- the song queue: song titles and video links, or the file names of songs from the host's song folder.
Everyone in the party can see these names and song titles. A party and everything in it is deleted when the host closes it, when no host has been connected for 10 minutes, or after 12 hours without activity.
Your song folder (.mp4 files)
When the host picks a song folder, the videos are read and played only by the browser on the host's own device. The video files are never uploaded to Deus Core or sent to anyone else's device. Only the file names are shared with the party so guests can search them.
Records for copyright complaints and abuse
So we can respond to copyright complaints and enforce our repeat-infringer policy:
- When a song is added to a party, we record the video link or the song's file name, its title, the name shown for the singer, the IP address of the connection that added it, the party code and the time. These records are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- If a link or song file name is taken down, the IP addresses that added it are kept as "strikes" so we can enforce the repeat-infringer policy. Strikes are deleted automatically after 3 years, or sooner when no longer needed.
- If we block a connection or a Pro pass, we keep the IP address or a scrambled (hashed) copy of the pass key, with the reason.
- We keep copyright notices and counter-notices we receive, including the sender's contact details, as legal records for up to 3 years. A counter-notice, including your contact details, is passed on to the person who sent the original notice, as the law requires.
An IP address can be personal information even though it doesn't tell us your name. We collect it here only for the purposes above, keep it only for the times stated, and don't use it for advertising or tracking.
We use these records only for handling complaints, preventing abuse and meeting legal obligations, and we only share them when the law requires it (for example a valid subpoena or court order).
Linked videos (third-party players)
Video links play in the hosting site's own embedded player. Karaoke Queue! uses YouTube API Services: when a YouTube video plays or is previewed, YouTube (Google) may collect information and set cookies under its own policies, see the Google Privacy Policy. To show a song's title, our server asks the video site for that video's public title using the link you pasted. You can manage data Google has stored at Google's security settings. Pro parties don't use video links at all.
Pro passes and payments
Pro passes are sold by Lemon Squeezy, which handles payment, billing details and tax. We never see your card details. See the Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy. When you enter a Pro pass key, our server sends it to Lemon Squeezy to check that it's valid. If you tick "Remember on this laptop", the key is saved in that browser only.
Stored in your browser
Your browser keeps a few small items (like your name, your place in a party, your color scheme and, if you choose, your Pro pass key) so you can reconnect after a refresh. They aren't used for tracking. You can clear them any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Hosting and security
The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes basic connection data (like IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site. We also use IP addresses for short-term limits on repeated attempts, such as guessing pass keys. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Children
Karaoke Queue! is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has given us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@deuscore.net. We may keep records we need for legal reasons (such as copyright notices). Because there are no accounts, we may need details like the party code and time to find your information.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. Questions: support@deuscore.net.
